As a first article inspection had to qualify a prototype, the NDT used had to be the most powerful as possible.
In this way, Tomo Adour could propose two main ways of measurement : CT (Computed Tomography) or Optical Digitizing (fringe projection).
This first step associated to others of post-processing (3D CAD Comparison, 3D or 2D dimensional controls) allow a complete first article inspection on a large field of parts.
Depending on the kind of control asked on parts, series’ inspections could be setup and focused on zones with the same level of expertism as the first article inspection could be.
